Britney's mom afraid of racist label

Los Angeles - Britney Spears' mother is terrified she will be accused of being a racist.

Lynne Spears - who is being sued along with her ex-husband Jamie by Britney's ex-manager for defamation, breach of contract and libel stemming from their daughter's public breakdown in 2008 - is reportedly seeking an injunction to prevent him from making anti-Semite allegations during their upcoming trial.

A source told US gossip website TMZ that Lynne has filed documents asking the court to block Sam Lufti from calling on an expert witness to testify about controversial comments she made about him in her 2008 memoir, Through The Storm.

The 57-year-old mother of three referred to Sam as a 'Svengali' in the book - a term often used to describe a person who manipulates and controls others but also refers to the 'Wandering Jew' in Christian mythology.

Jury selection is currently ongoing ahead of the trial.

Sam has already claimed he found crystal meth in Britney's home during her meltdown six years ago, during which the singer - who is still under a court-ordered conservatorship - was admitted into a psychiatric hospital and lost custody of her two sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Britney's lawyers have hit back at Sam's claims that he tried to save her life and sources said they will try to prove he was a fame-seeking drug dealer who isolated the popstar from her family.

The 30-year-old X Factor judge's life is now back on track and she is preparing to marry her long-term love and former agent Jason Trawick.
