Bruce Jenner feels 'free' after split

Los Angeles - Bruce Jenner feels liberated after ending his marriage to Kris Jenner.

The Olympic gold medalist, who released a joint statement with his ex-wife on Tuesday confirming their split, reportedly told several people at the Virginia International Raceway last weekend that he is very happy to be single again.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 63-year-old reality TV star said: "I'm finally free to do what I want and live life the way I want."

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star attended the event with his sons, Brandon and Brody Jenner, and was spotted "flirting" with a bunch of girls after racing a Lamborghini during the event.

Family will remain our number one priority

Bruce and Kris' split after 22 years of marriage is said to be amicable and they plan to continue co-parenting their daughters Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 16.

Another source said the former couple, who have four other children each from previous marriages, including Kim Kardashian, have no plans to file for divorce but have been separated since June.

Announcing their split, they said: "We are living separately and we are much happier this way. But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

Rumours first began swirling that they had ended their relationship after Bruce, who recently revealed he has been battling skin cancer for several years, moved out of their family home in Calabasas, California, and into his own beach house in Malibu earlier this year.
