Los Angeles - Carmen Electra thinks Simon Cowell will make a wonderful dad.
The TV star, who dated the music mogul for a few months from late 2012, thinks the X Factor judge will be a caring and attentive father to the baby he is allegedly having with his friend Andrew Silverman's wife, Lauren Silverman.
She told HollywoodLife.com: "The impact that he has with the X Factor, it really shows who Simon is and it shows that he really cares about the kids on the show - he takes care of them. So I obviously think that his child will be very well taken care of and very, very loved."
'I'm very proud of him'
Carmen is very "happy" for the 53-year-old star and admits she has nothing but fond memories of her time with Simon.
The former Baywatch actress told Yahoo omg!: "I'm so happy for him. I think people - all these rumours about us were swirling, there were so many - people didn't really know what they were talking about. Our relationship was a very flirtatious friendship. I'm very proud of him and so happy."
Lauren, 36, who is currently 10 weeks pregnant, is technically still married to estranged spouse Andrew, a real estate developer, as their divorce has not yet been finalised.
