Casper makes unexpected announcement during interview

Cape Town – Casper de Vries is currently in Cape Town for his one man comedy show, Casper goes Khaki.

Channel24 had the opportunity to chat with Casper (and his dogs) in studio on Wednesday.

During the interview Casper made an unexpected announcement that we can share with you exclusively.

Casper Goes Khaki will be the comedy legend's final show.

"Now I can concentrate on my painting and I can do movies and TV shows. I’ve done the one man show thing for 27 years now and it’s time to stop now," Casper told Channel24 during the interview.

Casper said he didn’t want to announce the news earlier as, like with death, the end always comes unexpectedly.

The comic legend will still continue his entertainment career but for now is taking a break from his one man shows that has made him a household name.
