Seth Rogen jumped on the band wagon to protect the pride of all those affected by posting on Twitter:
Posting pics hacked from someone's cell phone is really no different than selling stolen merchandise.
— Seth Rogen (@Sethrogen) August 31, 2014
I obviously am not comparing women to merchandise. Just legally speaking, it shouldn't be tolerated to repost stolen pics.

Kate Upton has her lawyer threatening to take action, telling Us Magazine: "This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton's privacy. We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible."

Anyone who retweets this leaked erotic photo of me should be ashamed of themselves. pic.twitter.com/p2KBa6serK

Making a joke about a thing doesn't mean you condone that thing.
— Ricky Gervais (@rickygervais) September 1, 2014
Of course the hackers are 100% to blame but you can still makes jokes about it. Jokes don't portray your true serious feelings on a subject

The way in which you share your body must be a CHOICE. Support these women and do not look at these pictures.
— Lena Dunham (@lenadunham) September 1, 2014
Remember, when you look at these pictures you are violating these women again and again. It's not okay.

The refutation comes days after an unidentified hacker stole explicit images and videos of more than 100 celebrities from Apple's iCloud service and published some to photo-sharing website 4chan.
Other celebrities affected by the scandal include Jennifer Lawrence, who has confirmed the images of her are real, but is warning that she will take legal action against anyone who publishes them.
The FBI confirmed in a statement that an investigation to find the hackers responsible for the material has begun.
