Charlie Sheen snubbed by Brooke

Los Angeles - Charlie Sheen's estranged wife won't visit him in hospital.

The Two and a Half Men actor was rushed to Los Angeles Cedars-Sinai Hospital with severe abdominal pains on Thursday after a reported 36-hour drink-and-drug binge with two porn stars. He is said to be recovering well, but Brooke Mueller has no plans to check on his condition directly.

Brooke - who has 22-month-old twins Bob and Max with Charlie - told X17online: "I'm not going to the hospital. Charlie's doing good."

While Brooke won't visit the 45-year-old actor, his former wife Denise Richards - the mother of his daughters Sam, six, and five-year-old Lola - has been keeping an emotional vigil at his bedside.

An eyewitness told US Magazine: "She had her hair down and looked very pretty, but she wasn't wearing makeup and she looked tired and drawn. Her eyes look like she's been crying."

Charlie allegedly had a "briefcase full of cocaine" delivered to his house just hours before being rushed into hospital at 7am on Thursday.

Destructive behaviour

In October last year, Charlie - who is currently in the process of divorcing Brooke - was accused of causing $7 000 worth of damage to his New York hotel suite after tossing furniture around because of the monetary demands of an escort shortly after reportedly being found naked and covered in cocaine in a restaurant toilet.

Following the incident, Denise - who divorced the star in 2006 - admitted she is learning to deal with his behaviour for the sake of their children.

She said: "I think a lot of people are concerned about Charlie and my concern is obviously the kids. What becomes difficult is things become so public. I'm learning how to deal with it. Just keeping a lid on it for our kids has been my main priority. It does become difficult."
