Charlize Theron debuts baby Jackson

2012-05-08 14:18
Los Angeles – South African actress Charlize Theron has finally given the world a first look at her baby boy Jackson, reports the Daily Mail.

Charlize was seen carrying Jackson as she arrived at LAX airport on Monday after reportedly spending a quiet weekend away with him.

Charlize adopted Jackson in March this year and has been covering him up in a baby carrier until now.

The 36-year-old won an Academy Award for her role as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in 2003's Monster.

She was also nominated for an Oscar for 2005's North Country.

See pictures of Charlize and her baby here.

Beautiful baby. However I feel sorry for the baby, and embarrassed for Charlize Theron. It is obvious as a South African she's got some racial issues and want to "sell" a perception. Obviously the baby is used to break down stereotype so just a commodity for her career enhancement. As for the baby I guess it's the "cool" accessory in Hollywood, kinda like Paris Hilton having a Chihuahua in her handbag. This is what I call subtle leftist racism.

There are children from other races also needing adoption besides black children.

      Rob - 2012-05-08 15:04

This woman is pathetic and cant have kids of her own as nobody will touch her with a bargepole.

      freelancemediapro - 2012-05-08 15:04

Why why WHY making it a race thing? WHY? This is a story about a woman who finally became a mom, and a little boy who desperately needed a loving parent - and finally got one. Period. Who the &*&!# cares about skin colour? When can we see each other as humans first, and then look at the hue of our skin?

      jowza1 - 2012-05-08 15:17

rob.i will touch her with my pole

      Shanelle - 2012-05-08 15:29

Why don't you go adopt one?

      Martin - 2012-05-08 15:38

rob, you forgot, a barge pole with a health inspector on the end hahaha.......what about communist babies charlize? and mexican ones, jump on the marketing band wagon

      jasmin.haumann - 2012-05-08 16:10

Yes philip i agree with u,and there such a lot of red tape that come's with it.meaning it take's forever. If u have one for me let me know .for real

      Lorain - 2012-05-11 07:38

@ Phillip since you have pin pointed the problem then you adopt those kids. You peole are just angry that Charlize has shed her racist Afrikaans traits since moving to America. i would advise yáll not to move thre lest your "baas"mentality be diluted.

  • Matt - 2012-05-08 15:08

The new Hollywood accessory - adopted black baby.

      Arthur - 2012-05-09 12:36

Difficult to find one that matches your handbag.

  • Roy - 2012-05-08 15:11

What is she trying to prove??

      Carla - 2012-05-08 15:36

@Rob - "An adopted child will never be loved as much as your own child" I think you'll find that there's very many parents with adopted children that will disagree with you.

      pisciotta - 2012-05-08 16:43

I was adopted, my brother was adopted, one of my cousins was adopted and my son is adopted. We are all loved equal to biological family members. The comment was made out of ignorance. Consider as well my wife and I are not biologically related, but we are ONE and love each other until death. What gives with people who can't understand this. Shame on you.

  • jasper.booysen - 2012-05-08 15:22

Jackson Theron - the name sounds like a Benoni car machanic!!!

      Rob - 2012-05-08 15:30

Very good Jasper LOL. Hosed myself.

      Xzaviera - 2012-05-08 15:32

Haha, your comment made me giggle.

      sabongam - 2012-05-08 17:06

Classic Jasper.Rolling on the floor. Pity those who had to bring race into the equation.

  • Shaun - 2012-05-08 15:30

Just saying ... perhaps not everybody thinks of their own selfish needs first before deciding to have kids. 7 billion humans on this planet (and counting)... Kudos to Charlize for her decision! Wish her and baby Jackson well.

  • stefaans.blaauw - 2012-05-08 15:33

Strange how the celebrities run to African babies to addopt to get into the spotlight. By the way this is an African American, There are 1 million white people living in squattercamps in South Africa, and they adopt a Black baby.

      Shanelle - 2012-05-08 15:51

So, once again, why don't you go and adopt a white baby? No one is stopping you. Before you go around bashing someone from doing something so noble, you need to check youself - that goes to all of you who said something because the baby is black -sanctimonious sub-human species

      Mncedisi - 2012-05-08 16:00

Stefaans, put your head in sand, you must be ashamed to say such a thing when you are an adult.

@Chanelle, I re-iterate! I apoligise for not seeing your comment, but this is my response to these idiots! Sickening! Why do these people have to make a statement in the colour of the child they adopt? Do you EVER see one with a Chinese child? An Indian Child? A South American child? NEVER! It's all to their selfish benefit of fame and fortune! "It's the right thing to do, adopting an Afican child!" Again! I stress!!!!! This is NOT a racist statement as most of you would read into! But I find it insulting on other colour groups that these idiots want to earn brownie points, for their own progression in the actors industry!

      Cornelia - 2012-05-09 08:02

She is a wannebee, do things like Brad Pitt. It is true, many SA children needs help, she must go to her home town and help there>>>>>>>>

  • Jack - 2012-05-08 16:03

He's got the same lost look like when the mother rejects the baby and some New Zealand earth mother adopts him in the animal shelter---ha ha ha

  • Shirley - 2012-05-08 16:06

Congrats on your baby, Charlize, take no notice of the Neanderthals below. And yes, you WILL love your baby equally as much as if born unto you, and YES, I do speak from experience having both deals.

  • Jack - 2012-05-08 16:06

Her friends in Benoni must be over the moon with excitement, especially ol' Clutch Odendal from Spanner Valley. ha ha ha

How many multi-million children on this planet, of every colour and creed need to have a better life? Yet, the filthy rich of Hollywood, zone in on Africa. Sure they need it too, but SO does the rest of the world! I find THAT racist!

      Se-a Spencer Ikeremm - 2012-05-08 17:35

I love your username, well, the DesertRat part:))

      claire.ranwell - 2012-05-09 12:35

if you actually knew anything and weren't so ignorant you'd know there are plenty of celebs that adopt races other than black........

      Katlego - 2012-05-10 14:04

@desertratbkf im pretty sure you could also find Racism in a Bowl of all Bran Flakes as they not the right shade of Brown.... You want to Find something Racist about it cos you got nothing better to do with your time. there is a lot of Chinese Kids beeing adopted and also Russian babies, Who cares if the kid is white and from Zim ot thailand really who cares, Look at it this way Charlene Now has an accessory and an Orphan now has a parent.

  • Se-a Spencer Ikeremm - 2012-05-08 17:39

I think everyone who is able to, should adopt. Humanity is slowly losing- The Family. With so many kids homeless, and so many people not settling down anymore... Sad.

  • mmokoatle - 2012-05-09 12:05

I'm a bit disappointed by the negative comments about Jackson's adoption. Nobody posted a comment when Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley adopted kids from South Korea. As people we have choices of what we want to do and I think Charlize made her choice to adopt the adorable baby Jackson. Wish them both well.

      Arthur - 2012-05-09 12:42

The fact that she named it after the deceased MJ has me wondering if this isn't more to do with trying to win over the Mac Donalds munchers while she tries to shed her South Africaness. She's got the fake accent down pat and has reinvented the pronunciation of her surname to sound a little more European, so now it's black baby time. Sorta like the perfect rug that just happens to go nicely with the rest of the furniture.

  • Arthur - 2012-05-09 12:35

    Baby Jackson?! Bwaaaahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa

  • nokwanda.ramncwana - 2012-05-11 04:26
