Chris Brown meets with police

Los Angeles - Chris Brown has met with police following his altercation with Drake's entourage.

The Yeah 3x hitmaker suffered a gash to his chin following a fight at New York club W.i.P on Wednesday and has now discussed the incident with authorities, but neither he nor his rival are being treated as suspects in the inquiry.

According to gossip website TMZ, Chris met with detectives in New York as a "witness and a victim" and his lawyers later spoke to police to present evidence to show Drake and Meek Mill were the aggressors.

Drake has also been "cooperating" with authorities, but it is not known if he has spoken directly to police himself yet.

'Stupid famous people'

Meanwhile, a girl who needed 16 stitches after being hit with a bottle during the alleged brawl has blamed the "stupid famous people" involved.

Hollie C, a 24-year-old Australian tourist, was struck by a flying glass bottle during the altercation, which reportedly stemmed from a row over Chris' former girlfriend Rihanna.

In a video clip she recorded after being released from hospital, she said: "I've just looked on the internet and realised the reason why I have 16 stitches on my head, on my face is because of some stupid famous people having a fight over a girl.

"Now where's the justice in them driving away in a limo while I had to catch the train home on one of my holidays?"

Unconfirmed reports

Hollie drifted in and out of consciousness after the incident and she was taken to a nearby hospital and discharged on Thursday. She has since filed a police report.

Chris has been at war with Drake over his alliance with Rihanna, who split up with the Beautiful People hitmaker after he was convicted of assaulting her three years ago.

Unconfirmed reports revealed he sent a bottle of champagne to Drake's table as a peace offering but it was returned with a note reading, "I'm fucking the love of your life, deal with it."

The gesture is then thought to have angered Chris and resulted in him confronting Drake, who allegedly threw a punch at his rival, leading to a brawl breaking out.

No arrests have so far been made in connection with the incident.
