Clint Eastwood's marriage 'on the rocks'

Los Angeles - Clint Eastwood's wife allegedly entered rehab because their marriage is on the rocks.

The legendary actor's spouse Dina Eastwood - who appeared in her own E! reality show, Mrs. Eastwood and Company last year - checked herself into a rehab facility recently to be treated for depression and anxiety because she is reportedly considering filing for divorce.

The 47-year-old former TV news anchor, who is being treated at an exclusive rehab centre in Arizona, has been having serious issues within her marriage over the past few months, according to gossip website TMZ.com.

A source declined to specify the nature of the couple's problems but insisted that Clint still believes they can save their marriage.

Made choice to seek help

Dina has been married to the actor-and-director - with whom she has a 16-year-old daughter Morgan - since 1996 and the family reside in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, where Clint is a former mayor.

She reportedly made the choice to seek help and plans to stay in rehab for a few months.

The couple met in 1993 when Dina interviewed the 82-year-old Hollywood star.

Clint is said to be an advocate for rehabilitation and is a sponsor for a facility in Monterey, California, which has named its youth addiction treatment scheme after him.
