Clint's wife 'saddened' by dating rumours

Los Angeles - Clint Eastwood's estranged wife is devastated by reports he is dating her new boyfriend's ex-wife.

Dina Eastwood, who recently revealed she and the legendary actor and director had separated after 17 years of marriage, has yet to comment on speculation she is dating her close friend Scott Fisher but confirmed she is eager to move forward with her own life after seeing new pictures of Clint, 83, in Los Angeles with Eric Tomlinson-Fisher, who was married to Scott for 33 years.

The 48-year-old former TV news reporter told UsMagazine.com: "I am saddened to see photos of Clint with Ms Tomlinson-Fisher. I look forward to new beginnings."

'He fell for her'

Clint allegedly fell in love with Erica, 42, after she divorced Scott, who is a basketball coach at the University of Hawaii, last year and she expressed fears to the Hollywood star that her ex-husband was dating Dina.

A source said: "After Scott and Erica divorced, Erica was sure Scott was romancing Dina. Erica called Clint's office last February to discuss her suspicions - then he fell for her!"

The insider added that Clint and Erica have been casually dating since Dina and Scott, 50, got together.

News of the new relationships comes just one day after Dina rushed to Clint's defence on Twitter and insisted they are still close.

Rehab

She wrote: "I don't like reading negative things about Clint. He is a wonderful, good natured, brilliant person. No matter what, I attest to that."

The former couple have reportedly been living apart since June 2012 but their split was "amicable".

The Gran Torino actor-and-director married Dina - with whom he has a 16-year-old daughter Morgan - in 1996, but it was reported earlier this year she had checked herself into a rehab clinic to deal with their alleged marital issues.

Clint has seven other children from previous relationships.
