Cops rush to alarm at Jolie-Pitt home

Los Angeles - Police were called to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Hollywood Hills mansion after one of their kids pressed a panic alarm on Friday.

Law enforcement officials rushed to the scene via car and helicopter only to be told by a nanny that one of the couple's six children had pushed the button by accident, according to gossip website TMZ.

Brad and Angelina - who reportedly tied the knot in a secret ceremony at designer Donna Karan's estate on the island of Turks and Caicos on Christmas Day - were not at their home when the incident occurred.

More than 22 members of Brad and Angelina's family were on the trip including their kids - Maddox, 11, Pax, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, six, and four-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - and the World War Z star's parents Jane and Bill Pitt.

The couple and their family were all staying in the exclusive Parrot Cay area of the idyllic island, and they were also allegedly joined on the trip by a team of 12 nannies to help them care for the kids.
