Demi Moore seeking spiritual advice

Los Angeles - Demi Moore is reportedly seeking advice from Michael Jackson's former spiritual guru.

The Striptease actress is said to have consulted with Deepak Chopra in the wake of her hospitalisation last week after suffering a seizure.

While her whereabouts is unknown, it is rumoured she had gone to rehab for an "eating disorder and addiction issues."

Live healthily, longer

Demi - who split from husband Ashton Kutcher in November amid speculation he had cheated on her - and Deepak are old friends, with her visiting him in India in 1996 and she even served on the board of advisers at his Californian healing centre, according to People magazine.

Speaking about Deepak's book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success she has previously said: "It is a practical guide to the fulfillment of your dreams. Deepak is also teaching me how to live healthily and longer."

Deepak - who has published over 65 published works in a career spanning more than thirty years - has been involved with many celebrities, but says this gives an unfairly skewed view of his work.

He said: "Celebrities call me after they read my books and come to my seminars [although] less than one per cent of the attention is from Hollywood. Ninety-nine percent is from the general populace."

The problem here is plain and simple - drug use. Addicts will look for other "problems" to fix, but completely stopping using drugs forever is the only real answer.

And listening to a "spiritual" snake oil peddler is not going to help. Religion is just another drug.

It seems News24 is beyond criticism. Not the 1st time a comment on punctuation and grammar has been deleted. To the writer, it's not personal, I was just stating a fact.

If you see the same pic above I see that says it all. Haggard features, sunken eyes and all the signs of drugs to behold. For G-D's sake Demi. What are you short of. Money galore, celebrity and fame and still YOU NEED THE DRUGS to keep going. Grow up, get someone your own age and live a normal life. You lost 8 years of your life with Afton. Now it's time to ' getta life.'
