Dionne Warwick threatens to boycott Bobbi Kristina's funeral

Los Angeles - Dionne Warwick is threatening to boycott Bobbi Kristina's funeral.

The Walk On By hitmaker - who was Bobbi's godmother - is allegedly unhappy about the "sweet 16-themed" funeral and disapproves of her aunt Pat Houston who is enforcing the theme.

A source told MailOnline: "Dionne is planning a trip and threatening to not attend the funeral because Pat Houston is taking over even though she should be making decisions with Bobby Brown and not doing it on her own."

The 22-year-old daughter of the late Whitney Houston died at a hospice last weekend after several months in a coma and her family are now planning to pay their respects to her with a funeral at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta, Georgia on Saturday, before her body is flown to New Jersey to be buried alongside her mother.

Dionne, 74, paid tribute to the aspiring singer and actress following her death by describing her as "a sweetheart".

She said: "She was a sweetheart, she will be missed, she was a good girl.

"It's not easy. It's [manageable] because of our faith that Bobbi is with a much bigger and more powerful person, or thing, that she's in much better hands now."

Bobbi spent almost six months unconscious after she was discovered face down in a bathtub at her home, but her father Bobby is now comforting himself with the knowledge she is "at peace".

A family member said: "He is holding it together more than you'd expect. He knew it was coming. Of course he's very emotional, but at the same time, he knows that Krissy is in a better place now.

"He is taking comfort in the fact that she's with her mother, and that there will be no more sadness or pain. She is at peace. He knows that, and is taking comfort in that."
