Los Angeles - Ed Sheeran, Cody Simpson and Charli XCX all appear in a new video to mark the International Day of Happiness.

The pop trio feature alongside the likes of Nelson Mandela - the former President of South Africa - and UN Secretary- General Ban Ki-moon and various artists from around the world lip syncing to Charli XCX's popular track Boom Clap.

Indeed, the United Nations joined forces with MixRadio to create the music video along with shorter videos of people saying what #HappySoundsLike to them, that forms part of the week-long celebrations for the special day.
