Elvis Blue helps underprivileged

Cape Town – Idols winner Elvis Blue is using his fame to raise funds for underprivileged children.

Blue is busy with a project, Back to School Blues, to help children with school and other educational needs.

"I am doing this project in conjunction with a local newspaper, Milk and Honey, in the George area," said Blue.

Blue told Sarie that the money raised is in aid of Life, the organisation where he gave guitar lessons before participating in Idols.

Life focuses on providing for children's needs in the poor areas of George.
