Los Angeles - Emma Roberts has split from her fiance Evan Peters.
The American Horror Story actress, who got engaged to her co-star in December 2013, is said to have called time on her romance with the 28-year-old star after the couple decided their relationship had "run its course".
A source told JustJared.com: "Their three years together just ran its course. They have so many great memories together but couldn't make it work in the end."
However, the source insists the former couple - who have starred together on the FX show for two seasons - have split amicably and will remain good friends.
They added: "The break-up was amicable - there was no drama whatsoever. Emma and Evan are even still friends!"
The brunette beauty, 24, had previously sparked rumours that their relationship was on the rocks after she was spotted out multiple times without her engagement ring earlier this year.
It had also been claimed the not-so-happy couple had been arguing a lot on the set of the show.
A source previously said: "Emma and Evan are making out - that is, if they're not screaming at each other."
