Eva Longoria involved in car crash

Los Angeles - Eva Longoria crashed into a car in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.

The Desperate Housewives actress was leaving the hairsalon of celebrity stylist Ken Paves when she pulled into traffic and hit the back of another vehicle with her BMW, although there was no serious damage, according to TMZ.com.

The other vehicle received minor scratches in the accident but the driver was thrilled when Eva gave him her phone number to arrange repairs.

'I should be angry'

However, he is sure to be left disappointed as Eva recently revealed she feels "lucky" to have found boyfriend Eduardo Cruz - the younger brother of Spanish actress Penelope Cruz - who she has been dating since soon after her split from ex-husband Tony Parker in November 2010.

She said: "The truth is, I should be angry, resentful and disillusioned about relationships. But I'm not. I was very lucky to find Edu."

The 36-year-old beauty recently said if a boyfriend were to propose, she would not waste time being engaged and would want to marry quickly.

She said: "I never believe in long engagements. People think engagement is another step. It's not another step.
"You're single and then you're married. The engagement is the planning party. So I always agree with short engagements."
