The Star Wars actor and his wife Eve Mavrakis have welcomed a fourth daughter, who was born in March, to their brood.
The new addition joins Ewan and Eve's biological children Clara, 15, and nine-year-old Esther and, Jamiyan, nine, who was born in Mongolia and adopted five years ago.
McGregor, 40, let slip about the baby in an interview, explaining how he likes to keep his family with him while he is filming.
He told the New York Post newspaper: "My wife and four girls - 15, two nine-year-olds and a baby of four months - often come with me if it's a holiday or my locations and their schedules allow.
Makes time for children
"Sometimes we uproot them and put them in another school."
No further details about the couple's newest daughter are known.

McGregor has, however, recently said he always makes as much time as possible for his children.
He said: "I understand it can be boring to play with young children - to tell a story over and over again, let's say - but the secret is being there.
"If you've made a decision to play with your children, then play with them.
"Turn off your BlackBerry. Lose yourself in their world. Even if you do it for a short time, it will mean a lot to you and to them."
