Expect Selena Gomez's new music to tune in on her relationship with Justin Bieber

Los Angeles - Selena Gomez's new music was inspired by Justin Bieber.

According to her vocal coach Stevie Mackey, the brunette beauty - who was in an on-off relationship with the Boyfriend hitmaker until October 2014 - references her failed romance with the 21-year-old star in her latest offering.

He said: "She doesn't mention him directly. But one could deduce that she is [singing about him]. Most artists sing about their present or past relationships in their music. Selena's no different."

Stevie also addressed speculation that the Come & Get It singer's hotly-anticipated new track will be titled Unbothered after she reposted a photo of herself reclining on a kitchen counter with the caption "Unbothered!!!!" on Wednesday.

Stevie, who had previously uploaded the picture onto his own account, explained to HollywoodLife.com: "That's not the title of her song. She just looked content and unbothered, so I put that on my Instagram. I was just showing her love."

Selena, 22, also hinted she is working on new music with songwriters Justin Tranter and Julia Michaels after adding a photograph of herself sitting in between the pair on a sofa.

She captioned the image: "From LA, Mexico back to LA. This is a magical team.... #SOON. (sic)"
