Rio de Janeiro - Fans of popstar Rihanna stormed the Rio de Janeiro mansion where she was staying, Brazilian media reported on Monday, but didn't get more than a fleeting glimpse.
One of the trespassers managed to get near the pool and see Rihanna, daily Extra reported, before being escorted out of the house by one of the singer's four bodyguards.
Rihanna was in the city for a photo shoot for the May Brazilian edition of fashion magazine Vogue.
The Barbados-born star arrived in Rio on Sunday. She opted to stay at a mansion in a gated community in the neighbourhood of Barra da Tijuca, which is removed from the city centre, in order to escape both fans and paparazzi.
Vogue said she was expected to stay until Thursday.
Rihanna also collaborated with Shakira on one of her songs which was released on Tuesday. The song is titled Can't Remember To Forget You. Listen to it here:
