Los Angeles - The cast of Friends have wanted to have a reunion for a long time but hadn't because they could not all be in the same place at the same time.
They did however come up with a plan to still have their reunion without all of them being together.
They did it by e-mail.
The stars of the defunct sitcom - Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc - had to make do with an online discussion because their busy schedules made getting together impossible.
Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Jennifer revealed: "We tried really hard to get together for a reunion in September but some of us were in New York and some in London so sadly it didn't happen.
"But we did have a wonderful few days of an e-mail exchange between us.
"Courteney, Lisa and I all have dinners together regularly. We grew up together - we're family."
Though the show ended in 2004, Jennifer will always treasure her experience on the programme as it was the "most important" time of her career.
The 45-year-old actress - who played Rachel Green in the TV show - said: "They are forever my friends. They are extremely important to me - those 10 years were probably the most important of my career. We had so much fun."

And as well as her former castmates, the 45-year-old star - who is engaged to Justin Theroux - values many of her other Hollywood friendships just as much.
She said: "I have wonderful women actor friends. Shirley MacLaine is a dear friend of mine - her career is extraordinary and she's a huge inspiration to me."
