Cape Town - Gareth Cliff has taken to Twitter to discuss Mara Louw's replacement on Idols.
The shock jock tweeted: "So Mara hasn't been signed up for Idols VII. Who would you like to see replace her?"
Twitter user @JasonvonBerg suggested socialite Khanyi Mbau, singer Lira and radio and TV host Pabi Moloi. Furthermore, he tweeted that he would prefer a female judge, saying, "There's too much sausage on the show (Gareth/Randall) so no more guys. Zolani - winner, KB, Lira guest judges! Nice team :)."
Other Twitter users entered the debate and the suggestions offered included Noeleen from 3Talk, Danny K, Loyiso, Thandiswa Mazwai and Zamajobe, a former Idols contestant.
M-Net has said they will announce Mara Louw's replacement before the end of the week.
