George Clooney plans tequila road trip

Los Angeles - George Clooney is planning a road trip with his friend Rande Gerber.

The Monuments Men actor and Cindy Crawford's businessman husband will be making stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Dallas and Miami as they travel around the US to launch their own drinks brand Casamigos Tequila.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six: "George and Rande came up with the idea of creating their own house tequila years ago when they both built houses in Mexico.

"They have been working with a master distiller ever since to create the ultimate blend. The tequila was supposed to just be for them and their friends, but after the success of Rande's Caliche Rum, they decided to go for it."

George was recently on vacation in Mexico with his girlfriend Stacy Keibler, where they shared a private dinner with Jennifer Aniston and her fiancé Justin Theroux, 40.

Didn't get on well

The group - who were last spotted together in June, boarding a private jet in Switzerland - dined at the luxurious El Dorado resort together.

Prior to that George had not been spotted out with Jennifer for several years following her divorce from Brad Pitt, 49, in 2005.

George and Stacy shared a private jet with Brad and his fiancée Angelina Jolie in January for a flight from Los Angeles to Palm Springs.

However Stacy and Angelina apparently didn't get on well.

A source previously said: "Angelina refused to acknowledge that Stacy was even on the plane. Angelina went out of her way to ignore her, from takeoff to landing. She would not even look Stacy's way. She was not having it!"
