George Clooney still looking for 'the one'

Los Angeles - George Clooney hasn't met the love of his life yet.

The hunky Gravity actor has dated a string of beautiful women in his years as a star - including recently splitting from former wrestling star Stacy Keibler and being linked to model Monika Jakisic - but claims he's yet to have his greatest romance.

When asked who has been the love of his life, George told W magazine: "I haven't met her yet."

The 52-year-old star - who was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993 - named classic Hollywood stars Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly as his ideal women.

He explained: "When I was a kid, I was in love with Audrey Hepburn. I watched Roman Holiday when I was 11, and I thought she was as elegant as anything I'd ever seen. And I fell madly in love with her. "

I also always loved Grace Kelly. "I mean, when she comes out of the water in To Catch a Thief, I thought, 'That's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.' "

George also claims no matter where he is filming he doesn't get homesick as long as he is surrounded by his friends.

He said: "Home is where my friends and family are ... no city, no space fails to be a home if your family or friends can find the time to visit.

"I get desperately, depressingly homesick if I can't find a way to be near the people that bring joy wherever they go.

'"Spend a night with my parents battling over who was the rottenest child [My sister or me]...Or my friends pointing out how badly I destroyed a certain bat franchise."
