‘Hands off our naked pastor!’

Cape Town – “Don't crucify the man he is also a human being.....and lives on planet earth, he is not a saint,” Nkanyiso Sihle Mthembu Nuf wrote on the wall of a Facebook page, Hands off Pastor Sthembiso Zondo, supporting Pastor Sithembiso Zondo.

This comes after a video was leaked showing Zondo, best known for his motivational talks on Ukhozi FM’s Breakfast Show on Tuesdays, walking around naked in his home.

The video caused a stir online as well as a media frenzy after allegations surfaced that the footage was shot by an alleged mistress.

The video posted by the Daily Sun sees a man unknowingly filmed by a female companion while he talks on the phone casually walking around in his home in his birthday suit.

But the pastor’s flock is having none of it. They are up in arms over the backlash the pastor is receiving and is standing up for him.

“The way that woman shot the video, you can see Pastor Zondo wasn't aware of the whole recording. The woman stole the shot to sabotage him,” @NkanyeziKubheka tweeted.

“I don't understand why people are making such a big fuss about levideo ya Pastor Zondo...His human as well,” @tanah23 tweeted.

While most of the pastor's supporters were upset over the leaked video others used humour to deal with it.
