Harry parties up a storm in Croatia

London - Britain's Prince Harry was a "true gentleman" when out partying in Hvar, Croatia.

The young royal danced the night away on Saturday with a bevy of beauties and even dived into the pool during his night out on the island, but while bar staff told of his "wild" night, one of the girls whom he eventually left with insists he was nothing short of charming.

Svetlana Gavilovic, 28, told the Daily Mail newspaper: "He was a true gentleman, very nice and polite.

"He noticed us and came over to say 'Hi'. I was very surprised by how approachable he was."

Staff at Veneranda nightclub, where the prince was partying, were initially unaware of their royal guest and confused as to how he could continue ordering drinks despite running out of money.

Harry's minders - who left him alone in the club - later settled the drinks bill for him.

Letting his hair down

Bar worker Sanja Britt Jusic explained his wild night, saying: "We do not normally let people swim in the pool for safety reasons. But I do not think even security could control him - he is a serious party boy and just wanted to go wild and let his hair down.

"It was impossible to stop him but when you see someone having such a good time you don't really want to. We just made sure he wasn't getting hurt.

"He was jumping in and out of the pool all night. I was worried about him slipping and hurting himself or catching a cold, so I gave him one of the T-shirts we sell in our shop. After putting it on, he looked just like a club waiter.

"We have been joking that now we will sell cups of the swimming pool water that Prince Harry swam in."

Harry is partying on the island with friend Tom Inskip during his down-time from training as an Apache Helicopter pilot.
