Vancouver - The extremist hate and anti-gay Westboro Baptist Church announced on Twitter that they plan to picket at Cory Monteith's funeral.
The group is known for picketing at funerals of soldiers, anyone from the LGBTi community and celebrities, as well as memorials for those killed in the Boston Bombings and the Sandy Hook shooting.
This is one of many hateful tweets made by the group about Monteith, specifically targeting Glee fans, cast members and Monteith's on-and-off screen girlfriend Lea Michele, who they hoped would "kill herself". The show's pro-LGBTi message seems to have angered the hate group, which seems to be the reason behind the shocking verbal attacks.
Other celebrity targets
Taylor Swift has been called a "whore" by the hate group, who threatened to picket her Kansas concert in August and they called Lady Gaga "a gender-confused, self-loathing, tone-deaf hand basket".
UK boy band One Direction have been called "perverts" and "God-hating" for their glamorisation of "sin" and the group also planned to picket at the funeral of Slayer guitarist Jeff Hanneman.
