Hugh Hefner's bride gets Disney shower

Los Angeles - Hugh Hefner's bride-to-be celebrated their upcoming nuptials with a Disney themed bridal shower.

Model Crystal Harris - who is set to marry the Playboy founder at his mansion in Los Angeles on New Year's Eve - says she can't wait to become the 86-year-old's wife after her best friend Ashley Matthau threw her a bachelorette party at lingerie store Femme Fatale in Studio City, California last Wednesday.

The 26-year-old blonde beauty told US Weekly magazine: "We really love Disney. We are huge fans. We go to Disneyland together a lot. My favourite movie is The Little Mermaid, so she got me an Ariel-themed cake. I was deciding what kind of shower I wanted, and I thought I didn't really want a lingerie shower, since I have more than enough lingerie."

Doesn't care about 60-year age difference

The aspiring singer also revealed her friends gave her Christmas decorations instead of gifts for her and Hugh's first tree together.

She said: "It was really sweet. I opened all the ornaments - some were wedding themed, some were Disney - and that was a lot of fun. We played fun games too. We did questionnaires about who knows the bride best - Ashley won, and my mom came in second!"

The couple recently rescheduled their wedding just months after Crystal left Hugh shocked when she called off their marriage just five days before they were due to marry in June 2011.

Hugh recently said he wants to stay with Crystal until he dies and insisted he doesn't care about the 60-year age difference between them.

He tweeted: "The dramatic age difference between difference & Crystal & me really doesn't matter. Whatever time I have left, we want to spend together."

As an early Christmas treat, Hugh managed to secure Crystal membership to the exclusive Club 33 at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Hugh has been married twice previously, to Mildred Williams from 1949 to 1959 and Kimberley Conrad from 1989 to 2010.
