Hulk Hogan drops $100m sex tape lawsuit

Los Angeles - Hulk Hogan has dropped his $100m lawsuit against Gawker.
The
TNA IMPACT Wrestling star filed the suit against the website last year, after it posted a one minute and 40 second snippet of a sex tape featuring Hulk and his former best friend's wife Heather Clem, which Hulk claimed was filmed without his consent but he has now decided to drop the complaint.
According to gossip website TMZ, Hulk voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit "without prejudice", meaning he can file again in future if he wishes.
'Committed to helping Hulk'
In October, Hulk settled a privacy lawsuit against Heather's husband, Bubba the Love Sponge, and Bubba released an apology letter in which he revoked his previous statement that the wrestler leaked the tape for publicity and was aware he was being filmed.
The radio DJ announced: "It is my belief that Hulk is not involved, and has not ever been involved, in trying to release the video, or exploit it, or otherwise gain from the video's release in any way."
He added he is now "committed to helping Hulk and his attorneys find whoever is responsible for the release of the tape".
