Los Angeles - Katy Perry has climbed a volcano.
The Part of Me hitmaker has apparently been taking inspiration from Elizabeth Gilbert's post-divorce memoir Eat, Pray, Love in making a trip to see some spectacular sights.
Referring to the title of the book, Katy - whose divorce from Russell Brand was finalised in July - tweeted alongside a picture: "I ate, I prayed, I climbed a volcano."
It seems the brunette pop star has been getting in touch with her spiritual side recently, meditating and cleansing her "chakras".
'A group meditate'
She tweeted on Monday: "Getting some shit out my chakra's! #eloquent (sic)"
And two days earlier she wrote: "Starting the day with a group meditate #breakfastofchampions (sic)"
Meanwhile, Katy has signed up to perform at a fundraising concert for US President Barack Obama.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Wide Awake hitmaker will be one of several artists who will perform at the 30 Days to Victory concert at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on 7 October.
