It's TWAR! Zayn Malik and Calvin Harris catch some serious feelings about Taylor Swift on Twitter

Los Angeles - Zayn Malik told Calvin Harris to "calm your knickers" in a heated Twitter confrontation.

The former One Direction star has found himself embroiled in yet another feud after the Scottish DJ appeared to take offence to an internet meme Zayn retweeted (and then deleted), comparing his girlfriend Taylor Swift to Miley Cyrus.

The meme contrasted the Shake It Off singer's desire for all musicians to be financially rewarded for their hard work with a quote from Miley reading: "I've made my money. If no one buys my albums, cool."

Calvin, being the best boyfriend he can be, replied to the meme...

Zayn - apparently believing Calvin's comments were directed at him - hit back...

Calvin then tried to clarify by responding...

But his response only angered the ex-1D star more. Zayn chose to reply by making snarky remarks...

Keeping his cool in spite of the attack, Calvin laughed it off...

Zayn then tweeted a public message, which may be directed at Calvin (obviously it was)...

But Calvin being the true gem that he is simply wished Zayn luck for the future...
