Los Angeles - Jaime Pressly has been arrested for driving under the influence.
The My Name Is Earl star was taken into custody in Los Angeles on Thursday after police performed a sobriety test when they pulled her over for allegedly committing a traffic violation at approximately 23:00, according to gossip website TMZ.
Law enforcement officials have not confirmed the 33-year-old actress' blood-alcohol level, although her bail - which is normally $5 000 - has been set for $15 000, which usually only occurs when a person is over 0.15%. The legal limit in the state is 0.08%.
Pressly is reported to have been alone in the car at the time of her arrest and there were no drugs found in the vehicle.
Pressly married entertainment lawyer Simran Singh in September 2009. She has a three-year-old son Dezi James with former fiance DJ Eric Calvo.
The actress has taken on a number of TV roles - including a recurring guest part on Rules of Engagement - since My Name is Earl ended in 2009 and currently has a number of movies in production.
