Los Angeles - Jenna Jameson has written an erotic novel.
The ex-porn star's first foray into fiction, SUGAR, will be published in October and the story revolves around a former X-rated actress who moves to New York City to start a new life away from the adult industry.
Jenna admits writing the book was a challenge but she is confident her racy past career and appreciation of romance will give women an exciting read.
She told RadarOnline.com: "SUGAR is something new and exciting for me. I've never written anything like this before and it was a wild ride. I've always been romantic and probably a little kinky. The time was right for me to express myself in SUGAR. I think it's the hottest thing you'll ever read."
How to Make Love Like a Porn Star
Jenna - who has starred in such films as Hard Evidence, Jenna's Tough Love and Camera Sutra - is no stranger to the publishing world.
Her 2004 autobiography How to Make Love Like a Porn Star sold over 250 000 copies and spent six weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list.
Jenna - who raises four-year-old twin boys, Jesse and Journey, with former UFC champion Tito Ortiz - insists her memoir was a very different book because it was a "personal journey".
She said: "My memoir was a very personal journey for me, but a lot has changed in my life since it was published."
There has been a boom in erotic publishing since the success of the Fifty Shades of Grey book series by EL James which have sold over 70 million copies worldwide.
