The Marley and Me actress - who has been infamously unlucky in love since her 2005 divorce from Brad Pitt - hosted a bash for 150 friends at her Beverly Hills mansion on Saturday and invited former flames Gerard Butler and Christopher Gartin, as well as her high school sweetheart.
An insider explained: "It was awkward but Jen just got on with it. She thinks it's nice that she gets on with all her exes but they seemed to find it weird all being in the same place."
However, the 41-year-old star's former love interests weren't the only famous faces in attendance at the bash.
Jennifer was spotted having a "heated" chat with talk show host Chelsea Handler - who publicly branded Brad's current partner Angelina Jolie " "a homewrecker" - while Oscar-winning actor Tom Hanks got involved in a dance-off.
The source added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Jen was chatting to Chelsea and the pair looked like they were getting heated but they seemed to be in agreement. Jen didn't seem to object to what had been said.
"Later in the night, Tom Hanks scooped a disco dance-off prize."
