Jennifer Aniston talks Brad Pitt on the cover of the Hollywood Reporter

Los Angeles - Jennifer Aniston took on the Hollywood Reporter to talk about everything from Brad, having dyslexia and her Oscar snub.

The 45-year-old actress has dismissed rumours her ex-husband's close friendship with Angelina Jolie, who is now his wife, on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005 led to their divorce, and insists "nobody did anything wrong".

Discussing their split, she said: "Nobody did anything wrong. You know what I mean? It was just like, sometimes things happen.

"If the world only could just stop with the stupid, soap-opera bullshit. There's no story. I mean, at this point it's starting to become... please, give more credit to these human beings."

The Cake star also claims she is still on good terms with Brad, 51, who now has six children with Angelina.

Showing off her toned body on the cover of the Hollywood Reporter she tells them: "We're not in daily communication. But we wish nothing but wonderful things for each other."

The former Friends star, who has been engaged to Justin Theroux since August 2012, has learned a lot since her marriage ended 10 years ago.

She said: "I always thought, if you're angry you just don't say anything. I would come out passive.

"I used to loathe confrontation. Loathe it. It was absolute. I understood anger, but I didn't know that you should express it. Which has been something that I've really tried to work on."

Jennifer also says she is a "control freak", but credits Justin for helping her to relax.

She said: "He's the easiest guy to hang around.

"I like to be in charge of everything. My life was so out of control growing up. It's very important today for it to be in control."
