Los Angeles - Jennifer Hudson has ended her partnership with Weight Watchers.

The Spotlight singer has shed 36kg since she joined the popular-weight-loss programme in 2010, but has now decided to step down as their spokesperson.

In a statement Jennifer said: ''My experience with Weight Watchers has truly been life changing. I am grateful for what I have learned throughout the process and will always take it with me.''

The 32-year-old singer, claims she made has made the decision to step away from the campaign in a bid to focus on her singing career, but suggested she has more projects in the pipeline.

She explained: ''I have chosen to step away from my role as ambassador and I am excited for the year to come, with many new projects and lots of new music.''

Meanwhile, fellow singer Jessica Simpson continues her stint as a spokesperson for the brand.

Jessica - who has two children, Maxwell Drew Johnson and Ace Knute Johnson, with her husband, Eric Johnson - has lost 31kg since she began her weight-loss journey with the programme in 2012.
