Los Angeles - Jennifer Love Hewitt is engaged to Brian Hallisay.
It was revealed on Tuesday that the 34-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her Client List co-star and boyfriend and now after 15 months of dating the couple have decided to get married.
According to Us Weekly magazine, Brian, 34, popped the question to Jennifer in May during a romantic vacation to Europe and she had no hesitation in saying yes to his proposal.
The pair first met when they appeared in NBC TV series Love Bites before reconnecting when they were cast in the Client List.
Freezing her eggs
The couple are overjoyed to be becoming parents and said in a statement: "We're so thrilled and happy to start a family."
A source told the publication Jennifer is three months pregnant.
Earlier this year, it was reported the actress had enquired about the process of freezing her eggs as she was "worried" about ending up childless after a string of failed relationships, including romances with musician John Mayer and actors Jarod Einsohn and Jamie Kennedy.
Jennifer had made no secret of her desire to start a family, previously saying: "I would love to have babies. I'm obsessed with babies. I would love to have them one day."
