Jennifer delays wedding for baby

Los Angeles - Jennifer Love Hewitt has put her wedding on hold.

The 34-year-old actress got engaged to Brian Hallisay in July after learning that they were expecting their first child together, but she has now decided to postpone her nuptials until after her baby has been born as she wants to be back to her pre-pregnancy weight on her big day.

Speaking to People magazine at Pampers Love, Sleep and Play campaign in New York, she said: "I'm not going to stress about the wedding as well! We're going to wait. I'm going to get down and be cute again and then we'll be ready to go."

The Ghost Whisperer star - who has had a craving for cupcakes - admits she's upped her exercise regime since she fell pregnant in April and although her expanding bump is causing her great difficultly when it comes to working out, she feels she has to maintain a healthy lifestyle for the benefit of her unborn tot.

She explained: "I've actually worked out more pregnant than when I wasn't. I've been working out about five to six days a week.

"I do a lot of swimming, Pilates, yoga - all good stuff for baby and for me. It gets difficult the bigger you get because it's more uncomfortable, but it's important."

The couple - who first met on the set of NBC series Love Bites - have decided to keep the sex of the baby a surprise, and Jennifer can't wait to hold her child for the first time and isn't bothered whether it's a boy or girl.

She said: "I don't know what I'm having. I'm due in December. Everybody's really excited. Meeting the baby is what I'm most excited about."
