Cape Town – TV personality and former Miss South Africa Jo-Ann Strauss and her fiancé, orthopaedic surgeon Michael Held, were married on Saturday during a small and intimate ceremony.
Strauss, who initially didn't want to say where and when the wedding will be taking place, tied the knot at the Camps Bay Retreat, according to a photo that was published in the Sunday Times.
Strauss wore two wedding dresses by Durban-based designer Gideon Oberson.
Only 31 guests were invited to the wedding.
Photographer Christine Meintjies, who was also the photographer for Schalk Burger's wedding, said on her Facebook page that it was an honour to be Strauss' wedding photographer.
