Los Angeles - Joe Odom claims his son Lamar was "drugged'.
The basketball player was rushed to hospital on Tuesday after being found unconscious in a brothel - having reportedly suffered heart failure - and his father believes the only way he could have ended up in such a situation is if someone gave him substances without him knowing.
He said: "Somebody drugged my son. There's no way he's down there partying crazy like that. No way. I knew something was wrong because I've been calling him all day and he hasn't been answering."
The 35-year-old sportsman - who was on his fourth day at the establishment in Nevada, where he had allegedly taken several herbal Viagra pills - is now being treated at a hospital in Las Vegas.

And his father has urged Lamar's ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, who finalised her divorce from the sportsman in July but is currently by his bedside, to call him to discuss his condition.
Speaking to HollywoodLife.com after hearing the news, he said: "I'm depressed right now -- this is messed up! What can I do right now? That's my son. I'm really hurt right now.
"I pray that he will come out of this. I need all his fans to send him well wishes. If Khloé knows anything about this, please, tell her to call me. We all love Lamar and want him to pull through this."
