Los Angeles - Chrissy Teigen is way more ballsy on Twitter than in real life.
The Sports Illustrated model's husband John Legend has insisted she shows her "sweet side" more in everyday life than when she makes comments on Twitter.
John said: "When Twitter first started, I was worried. Like, don't be too honest, don't share too much.
"But, then, I think she's actually more brazen on Twitter than she is just in regular life. She shows more of her sweet side in regular life."
And the couple - who have been married since 2013 - insist they would much rather be "authentic" as it helps them relate to others.
He added: "Us being authentic is better than us not being authentic. I think she has a lot more fans than any other model would ever have because people connect to her as a person.
"I think why people love her - and some people hate her ... is because she's not afraid to be herself."
Meanwhile Chrissy recently defended posting topless pictures of herself on Instagram.
The 29-year-old has been outspoken against the company's no nipples policy for females because she thinks that if men can go shirtless on the site, then women should be given the same rights.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said: "If the boys can do it, why can't I do it too?"
The Lip Sync Battle star recently tried to share a topless image of herself from a W magazine shoot but it was repeatedly removed by moderators yet she thinks far worse pictures are allowed to be published on social media.
She explained: "[When] I post something from W Magazine, which is what I think is beautiful, they take it down, they emailed my agency and they were like, 'Please tell her to stop!' Their tone of the email was so sad, because I just kept posting it and posting it.
"My thing with it was that, when I'm scrolling through Twitter, I get flat out pornography sometimes. If you look up on Instagram, 'hashtag boobs,' a lot of stuff comes up!"
