Los Angeles - Justin Bieber is finding comfort in the Bible following the appearance of two videos showing him saying the "N-word".
The 20-year-old pop star has made two public apologies in the past week following the emergence of the footage of him making a racist joke and singing about killing a "nigger" and joining American white supremacist group the Ku Klux Klan.
Now, Justin has posted a photo of three Bible passages all stating how salvation and forgiveness can be found in Jesus and God on his Twitter and Instagram accounts .
The first and third are the extracts from the Gospel of John - found in the New Testament, and the second quotation comes from the Book of Isaiah which is found in the Old Testament.
The Baby hitmaker also quotes an extract from the book Jesus Calling written by missionary Sarah Young.
He said: "At the end of the day I just need to step up and own what I did. Facing my mistakes from years ago has been one of the hardest things I've ever dealt with. But I feel now that I need to take responsibility for those mistakes and not let them linger."
Is Justin just digging a deeper whole for himself or are we going to feel sorry for him and move on?
