Los Angeles – Pop star Justin Bieber is wanted for questioning by police after a photographer claimed he was involved in an altercation with the star, reports the Daily Mail.

The scuffle reportedly took place after the photographer wanted to snap a picture of Justin and his girlfriend Selena Gomez leaving a theatre at The Commons at Calabasas on Sunday.

According to the Daily Mail, the photographer called 911 complaining of chest pain. He was taken to hospital where he was treated and then released.

Justin lost his cap and a shoe during the scuffle while girlfriend Selena tried to keep him calm.

According to TMZ, the photographer was blocking Justin's car and didn't want to get out of the way after the star asked him to. Justin is reportedly being investigated by police for misdemeanour criminal battery.
