Justin Timberlake insults Britney Spears

Los Angeles - Justin Timberlake allegedly called Britney Spears a "bitch" on stage on Saturday night.

The 32-year-old singer - who married his girlfriend of four years Jessica Biel in Italy in October - reportedly blasted his ex-girlfriend for cheating on him in 2002 before singing his hit Cry Me A River, which was written about her, on stage at a pre-Super Bowl bash in New Orleans in aid of a children's charity.

Before performing the Grammy Award-winning track, Justin told the crowd: "Sometimes in life, you think you found the one. But then one day you find out, that she is just some bitch," according to HollywoodLife.com.

Justin ended his three-year romance with Britney, 31, after she allegedly cheated on him with her then choreographer Wade Robson and the song is about their high profile break-up.

Invite-only event

Justin was later joined on stage by Jay-Z at the concert, which was his first full show in five years and helped to benefit the Shriners Hospitals For Children and was hosted by cable company DirectTV at the DTV Superfan Stadium.

Guests at the star-studded invite-only event included Paul McCartney and his third wife, Nancy Shevell, Twilight Saga star Peter Facinelli, Modern Family actress Sofia Vergara, Nashville star Hayden Panettiere and David Arquette.

It is not known whether Justin's Total Recall star wife Jessica attended the bash.

Britney, who has two children Sean Preston, seven, and Jayden James, six, from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline, recently broke off her engagement to Jason Trawick.
