Los Angelles - Kanye West was reportedly almost "blown to bits" while hiking on an "abandoned military minefield."
The 37-year-old rapper's trainer and close friend Harley Pasternak claims they narrowly escaped death after wandering into a dangerous area during one of their outdoor workouts in Hawaii a few years ago.
According to Billboard magazine the duo were "nearly blown to bits in an abandoned military minefield," but "luckily saw warning signs for explosives and navigated their way back to safety."
Meanwhile, the star's wife Kim Kardashian West's personal trainer Gunnar Peterson claims the New Slaves hitmaker "is single-handedly keeping the floral industry alive," as he is always buying her bouquets.
He also told PEOPLE magazine: "Kim and Kanye raise the bar in everything they do."
The couple, who have 23-month-old daughter North, recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary and are said to be happier than ever.
An insider added: "Kim calms Kanye down when he needs it and Kanye gives Kim confidence and helps guide her in the right way, especially with business decisions. It's a loving partnership.
"They love spending as much time as they can at home as a family. they genuinely get along so well."
