London - Britain's Prince William and Catherine ate "fertility-enhancing Brussels sprouts" on their honeymoon.
The royal couple – who went on a post-wedding holiday to the Seychelles following their April 29 nuptials at London's Westminster Abbey – reportedly dined out on the green vegetable mixed with cream cheese during the romantic break.
According to Vanity Fair magazine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge requested that their private villa be stocked with Brussels sprouts due to their high levels of folic acid and fertility enhancing properties.
High spirits
The pair also allegedly watched their whole ceremony on television in between their two wedding receptions on April 29, and were particularly amused to see bridesmaid Grace van Cutsem scowling on the balcony of Buckingham Palace while the newlyweds received a flyover by a Lancaster Bomber plane.
A palace source told the magazine: "It was just the two of them, and they were so excited to actually see it on the television. Harry joined them afterwards, and they were all in high spirits.
"They were laughing when the cameras panned onto little Grace on the balcony, and William was saying, 'Poor Grace, she looks terrified!'"
