Katy Perry hitchhiked to Coachella after her van broke down

Los Angeles - Katy Perry was forced to walk to Coachella on Saturday after her van broke down.

The Roar hitmaker and her entourage were making their way to the iconic music festival in Indio, California, when their vehicle failed and they were left to make their way to the site by walking along the roadside.

However, a source told the Daily Mirror newspaper that the 30-year-old pop star "didn't look bothered by it at all", and because her crew were coming from the Soho House pop-up bash - where they'd stopped to get a bite to eat - their hike only lasted 10 minutes.

Katy was spotted at the music festival alongside Hollywood star Robert Pattinson, who is reported to have celebrated his engagement to FKA twigs at a surprise Coachella afterparty.

Katy - who's been involved in an on/off romance with John Mayer over the last few months - was among the guests at the party at their rented mansion in Palm Springs.

An insider said: "Rob has arranged for their closest friends to surprise her at their mansion.

"He's got a party planner to book dancers for the pool area and a cocktail maker. It's the first chance they've had to toast their engagement with friends so it should be a big night for them." publishes all comments posted on articles provided that they adhere to our Comments Policy.
