Keira Knightley buys £2m house

Los Angeles - Keira Knightley has spent more than £2m on a house.

The 25-year-old actress's new 18th Century property - located in east London - is said to boast some amazing features, such as a cinema room, dressing room, library and music parlour.

The splurge comes shortly after the Never Let Me Go star split from her long-term boyfriend Rupert Friend, whom she dated for five years.

To get over the break-up she was seen on a night out with her actress pal Sienna Miller last month, eating at Soho restaurant Bocca Di Lupo before hitting the Lucky Voice karaoke bar for some fun in London's Soho area.

And Sienna may be paying a visit to Keira's new pad for a girls' night in after experiencing some man trouble of her own - as she announced she had split from her fiancé, actor Jude Law, this week.

The couple have decided to call time on their relationship for a second time - 15 months after they reunited following their first split in November 2006.

A friend of the pair said: "It is mutual and amicable and they are still friends.

"It was an entirely an end-of-the relationship decision. It had run its course."
