Kelly Rowland craves ice cream and peanut butter

Los Angeles - Kelly Rowland has been craving chocolate ice cream and peanut butter throughout her pregnancy.

The Kisses Down Low hitmaker is set to welcome her first child into the world in a couple months with her husband Tim Witherspoon and she admits she's developed an obsession to the calorific combination.

Speaking to PEOPLE.com, she said: "I literally have a scoop, one scoop of chocolate ice cream and a teaspoon of peanut butter, and mix it all together."

"If I'm in the bed and I just really don't feel like getting up, then Tim has been really wonderful at getting up and getting it for me."

However, the 33-year-old singer - who is expecting a baby boy - believes it's important that women still do exercise while they're pregnant.

She explained: "I feel wonderful. I think training is one of the best things that could ever happen to a woman while she's pregnant. Yes, we have the green light to go when it comes to food and diet, but I just really think you give your body the foods that it needs."

Kelly has shared numerous pics on Instagram getting a healthy workout with her baby bump:

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty is keen to stay calm and relaxed throughout the third, and final, trimester of her pregnancy because she hopes her positive energy will reflect on her baby and help with his upbringing.

She said: "I don't want no cortisol levels going up. I just want to keep it very serene and calm for myself - and definitely for the baby - because that's the kind of environment I'd want to bring him up in."
