Los Angeles - Khloé Kardashian "got arrested and put into jail" when she was just 15.

The 31-year-old reality TV star has admitted she was cuffed by police and thrown behind bars as a teenager after she stole her famous mother Kris Jenner's Range Rover and drove it underage and without a valid licence.

Speaking on her website KhloeKardashian.com, she said: "I got arrested for stealing my mums car. And I got pulled over. I was 15, driving my mum's stolen Range Rover, which I stole to go see an older boy, so I got arrested, got put in jail."

She added: "They called my mum and I remember my mum when she picked me up she was like, 'I am so ashamed of you, and look at this outfit, what are you wearing?'"

And that isn't the first time Khloé has found herself in a spot of bother when it comes to the 60-year-old matriarch's car as she once "borrowed' the flashy vehicle, parked it at a valet and returned to find it completely engulfed in flames.

Speaking to her friend Malika Haqq, 32, she said: "I think I just hid because I was so scared of my parents."

Malika replied: "That probably wouldn't classify as a worst date, that was one of your worst months."

She added: "I can't believe we used to steal your parents cars. First of all what is shocking to me is that we got away with it for so long before they ever knew it was happening."
